Giclée Fine Art Prints

Giclée Printing
Giclée is a fine-art printing method designed to capture the richness and precision of the original artwork. The term comes from the French gicler (“to spray”), referring to the microscopic droplets of archival pigment that the printer deposits in controlled layers.
Unlike standard commercial prints, Giclée uses pigment-based inks on museum-grade papers, producing exceptional color accuracy, smooth tonal transitions, and a tactile, velvety surface. This process ensures longevity; prints can last for decades without fading, and is widely regarded as the gold standard for professional art reproduction.

Editions
All editions, limited or open, include a Certificate of Authenticity bearing the artist’s reproduced signature, which also appears on the white border of the print.
Limited editions additionally include an edition number on the print, corresponding to the certificate to ensure authenticity and traceability.
Each artwork has an edition of 7 per size. Once all seven prints of a size sell out, that size is permanently closed.Open Editions remain available over time and follow the same museum-quality production standards.
All artworks are museum-quality Giclée fine-art reproductions of the original pieces (not for sale), printed with archival pigment inks on premium Hahnemühle paper.

Print Sizes & Custom Formats
Print sizes vary slightly between artworks to preserve each piece’s original aspect ratio. Each work is offered only in the sizes that maintain its composition without cropping or distortion.
Large-scale formats are available only for select limited edition works, depending on the artwork’s composition and archival constraints. Open editions are offered in a fixed range of sizes to ensure optimal quality and consistency.

European frame sizes are widely available online.
You may also use a slightly larger U.S. frame with a mat for a perfect fit. -

How the Original Art is Created
Each piece begins as a hand-painted artwork created primarily in watercolor, complemented by subtle mixed-media accents that enhance texture, luminosity, and fine detail. These accents may include carefully applied opaque or linear highlights and layered tonal work.
The artworks are developed on aquabord panels, premium cotton papers, or prepared wood surfaces, selected for their ability to hold delicate washes and atmospheric depth.
Some pieces undergo light digital calibration to ensure faithful color, clarity, and tonal accuracy in the final reproduction. These adjustments preserve the integrity and atmosphere of the physical painting.
Please note: the original artwork is not for sale. What you receive is a high-quality giclée fine art reproduction, faithful to the surface, texture, and character of the original piece.
